Navarra Arena will become a true dance floor on May 16 and 17 as it hosts the 2nd City of Pamplona Modern and Urban Dance Championship.

The second edition of the City of Pamplona Modern and Urban Dance Championship will take place on May 16 and 17, 2026, at Navarra Arena, following the success of its first edition in 2025, which brought together 1,800 dancers and more than 3,100 spectators.

Organized by Izarrak Elkartea, the event will be extended to two days in order to triple its capacity and is expected to significantly surpass previous figures. More than 60% of participants in 2025 came from outside Navarra, and the goal is to establish the championship at a national level.

There will be three categories: urban dance, modern dance, and an open category (a mix of styles). Participants will compete in around 20 subcategories based on age (starting from 4 years old) and group size, ranging from soloists to megacrews (more than 21 people). The choreographies, which must be original and last between 1 and 5 minutes, will be evaluated by a national and international professional jury.

More than 30 prizes will be awarded, some of them with cash prizes.

Schedule:

  • Saturday, May 16: from 16:00
  • Sunday, May 17: from 10:00
